Hi guys, just some simple tips to make your Globe at home prepaid WiFI speed increase.
First Connect your device to your Prepaid home WiFi (Wireless connection or LAN doesn't matter)
Step 1: Open a browser and type the IP address 192.168.254.254 to access your modems GUI
Step 2: One you're on the GUI screen, click Login to go to the Login in Screen
Step 3: Once you're on the Login screen, input your modems username and password. You can also see your default username and password at the back or bottom of your modem
Default user name is User
Default password is @l03e1t3
Step 4: Once you gain access to your modems GUI. You Need to click Device settings
Step 5: After Clicking Device settings, Click Advance settings
Step 6: After clicking advance settings you will be routed to the DHCP screen.
Step 7: Check the URL you will see this >>
change the router_setting to frequency just like this >>
Step 8: At the Frequency and Network page you will see there 4 bands of frequency.
Just put a check mark on one of the Band then Click Apply then do a speed test.
If your speed didn't improve try choosing a different Band, Click apply then do another speed test.
