Hello fellow photographers! I put up this thread to find out how y’all are doing as portrait/model photographers during the pandemic. Since we have to social distance/confine ourselves at home, how do you get around shooting? Also, what do you think OR suggest can/will be the “new normal” for photoshoots!

Hope to read some helpful comments/suggestions here!

True, it is the “new normal”. It’s sad to see photographers desperately selling their gear to provide for their families.

Now that we’re under GCQ though, there needs to be a proper way of conducting photoshoots and I don’t mean behind a plastic barrier.:laugh1:

As photographers, we interact. Either photojournalism, portrait, events etc. we take the posed and candid. This pandemic won’t end anytime soon. Events.. gone. Weddings.. postponed.

Lastly, my point being is what’s the use of our invested gear when we’re all just going to use phones? Haha

People have been shooting online through video calling apps, I think you can direct your model and then just take a screenshot
