Creo Expert Moldbase Extension contains customized detailed packages of plates and individual elements of all leading suppliers with the requirements of the main
When creating a model block, Creo Expert Moldbase Extension automatically generates an assembly drawing, specification and plate drawings with regard to the requirements of ESKD.
Shaping components can be created directly in Creo Expert Moldbase Extension or you can use shaping components created in the CreoTool Design module.
Creo Expert Moldbase Extension has a specialized graphical interface with a schematic two-dimensional view of both finished designs of model blocks and individual components. At the same time, you can create and use your own designs, components, types of used injection molding machines, and enter your suppliers in the database. The selection of the main parameters of the mold components is carried out in two-dimensional mode. If it is necessary to specify the placement parameters of one or another component, the designer refers to the three-dimensional structure. This approach greatly speeds up the mold design process.
As a rule, full-fledged three-dimensional models of the mold assembly with holes, slots, etc. made in the plates are formed in an automated mode. In this case, all the holes and grooves are dependent - when you remove a component for which these structural elements were made, they are also removed. When you change the size and location of components, these geometric constructs are automatically rebuilt.
Creo Expert Moldbase Extension automatically places fasteners, calculates the length of pushers and signs, creates cuts along the contour of the part. To facilitate visualization, Creo Expert Moldbase Extension allows you to enable / disable the display of any components.
Creo Expert Moldbase Extension implements a mold opening mechanism using animation, with analysis on the intersection of components. The following calculations are possible: a
comparison of the compression force of the machine and the pressure generated inside the mold;
the force acting on the wedge during its movement (in the mechanism of the movable rod) for a given course;
inclined pusher angle;
delays (at double disclosure of the model block);
total project cost in the manufacture of the mold.
High performance when designing a model block due to the fact that the designer creates a mold from ready-made adaptive components - "cubes", for which templates of drawings have already been created.
Reducing the likelihood of errors, since the placement of components and the implementation of all the necessary cuts with the corresponding gaps are fully automated.
A custom two-dimensional interface with visualization of changes makes it possible to quickly work out the mold without wasting time on the regeneration of the three-dimensional model.
Development of a mold for a specific casting machine with the calculation of the necessary clamping force.
Automated creation of a control program for machining holes in plates.
Calculating the cost of the mold.
Creating your own library of plates, components, structures of mechanisms and model blocks in the dialogue mode.
Quick mastering of the module, online reference guide with animated videos.
Create custom libraries with their own typical designs and mold parts.
