SSD for OS installation HDD for other software/files.

I second this. SSD will always be the best para sa OS and for your most used apps.

usually ang setup is combination ng SSD for OS & intalling apps then HDD for storage, they go for this setup for a much larger capacity compared to pure SSD pero same budget nanilabas lang. pero sabi nga sa taas kung hindi naman issue sayo ang budget, mag solid na SSD nka nalang.

Pero definitely SSD for OS.

Pwede din mag 500 gb SSD ka then just buy external HDD for your other files like tv series or movies.

SSD talaga sir. Malaki ang difference. downside lang is the GB/Peso ratio.

(usually ang dramless is cheaper but need mo nun to essentially make read and write even faster.) May different types na din ng Nandflash (basis kung bakit Solid State Drives ang tawag sa kanila) May SLC, MLC, TLC and QLC. (Single, Multi, Tri, Quad Level Cell.

MLC ang common ngayon based on price per gb. SLCs ang pinaka mabilis and pinaka-mahal. While QLC ang may pinaka malaking storage ngayon. (umaabot na sa 100TB sa isang drive.

if you have valuable files to store go for hdd. ssd is fine for operating system and overall usage. but when it comes to your most important files hdd still is more reliable compare to ssd. i've had several ssd failed on me and file recovery is none but done. when ssd fail its gone.

:good3:rule of thumb: sa SSD iinstall yung OS at frequent used programs tapos sa HDD yung mga mass storage mo (personal files, movies, raw files). mas preferred yung mag hybrid storage ka sa pc/laptop tapos ganito setup mo. Pero kung may budget ka to go all ssd, why not di ba?

Between SSD and HDD ano po mas prefer nyo na storage device for LapTop or PCs?

if running applications / os ang ilalagay mo, i'd go for ssd.
and if for storage specifically ang use, hdd is okay..
